CardsShoppe Introduces This Year's Exclusive Halloween Invitations for Halloween Party Celebrations

As the leaves start to change color and the new school year begins, many people are turning their attention to the next holiday - Halloween! Although the holiday has gone through some rough times in recent years with fewer parents letting their children go trick or treating and some people decrying the holiday as evil, October 31st is always going to be one of the top party holiday choices around. To meet the needs of those Halloween party costume wearing party hosts, one card company has decided to launch its new line of Halloween Invitations Cards for this year's Halloween season.

That card company is CardsShoppe, one of the best-known sources for all personalized Holiday-Invitations. The purpose of this new line is to meet the needs of consumers who seem more interested than ever in throwing an exciting Halloween party. Whether they want a costume party or a kids Halloween event, this new line of invitations will provide everything they need to make sure the word gets out and to attract guests to attend the celebration. Because these invitations are unique, most hosts will love the idea of sending them to potential guests because the "wow" factor will set the stage for the rest of a fabulous event.

Sharon Shelton, president of Cards Shoppe, expressed her excitement over the new line of Halloween Party Invitations cards: "We are thrilled to be expanding our already sizable line of Halloween cards this year. Each year, we have seen tremendous interest in the holiday party cards for Halloween. We feel strongly that this new line of cards will be a huge asset to our company and to our customers. Our customers are definitely out there throwing great parties to celebrate and we just knew we had to do something to make their jobs easier." While these cards are new, the company does already have some party Halloween cards available. These holiday invitations cards, according to Shelton, have been some of their top sellers in recent years.

Cards Shoppe, as helmed by Shelton, has come to dominate the online card market on the Internet. The site has remained focused on providing two things: the largest selection of holiday-related cards, invitations, and announcements available and providing customers with the best customer service available. The introduction of this new line of invitations helps them continue meeting their first focus by expanding their already-wide selection of holiday-related cards which include Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, New Years, Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, Holiday Thank You Cards and more.

The company's commitment to its customers can clearly be seen not only in their continuing efforts to provide greater customization and personalization options but also in the introduction of this new line that meets the needs of customers. The company has also reached the top of the industry thanks to its unique and patented preview software that allows customers to see what their Halloween invitations cards will look like BEFORE they buy!

Creating Halloween Greeting Cards

Posted By: Admin - On: August 04, 2008
Creating Halloween greeting cards are perfect for announcing a spookynite of fun

Many individuals enjoy the spookynite thrills that Halloween greeting cards provide. There are many stores that carry these types of cards. In addition to this, the internet is loaded with websites that will allow you to either purchase the cards, or print out the seasonal greetings. Many of these may even allow you to send a Halloween greeting card through the means of email and/or the United States Postal Service.

However, why go out and purchase these cards when you can create your own Halloween greeting cards? Not only will the receiver enjoy a personalized card, but you can save a lot of money by simply creating your own. In this article, you will be introduced to various methods that you can use to make your cards unique.

The first thing that you will want to do is to gather up some basic arts and crafts supplies. Glue, construction paper, scissors, tape, crayons, markers, and similar items are an absolute must. Now you can use just about any color when it comes to creating Halloween greeting cards, but the best colors are white, black, orange, red, and even gray.

You will want to maintain the whole "spooky" look and feel. Now, you must decide what kind of design to go with. One that I really like is the shape of the angry black cat. I would print this shape out and use it as a template on my construction paper in order to duplicate the shape. Once you duplicate the shape, simply cut it out. You may elect to do only one, or you may want to create a cover and a back as well. The choice is yours!

Now, take a piece of white construction paper and cut out a ghost figure that can fit conveniently between the cat shaped pages that you have created. Take one flap - the bottom one - bend it over and tape it to the inside of the card. This way, when the receiver opens it, the spooky, silly ghost will pop up and surprise them!

You may want to add drawings of Halloween pictures, or even include a piece of candy taped on the front. These types of things really bring out the best in a homemade Halloween card. This is just one example that you can use when creating your own Halloween greeting cards. Just be creative, and you are sure to win the heart of the receiver!

Scary spider Kids Halloween crafts idea with a black balloon

Make a huge black spider for Halloween with this kids' Halloween crafts idea.

This Is What You Will Need:
  • A big black balloon
  • 4 long, black pipe cleaners
  • Some white-out (liquid paper)
  • A bit of string or yarn

  1. Blow up the balloon so that it is only partially inflated, and tie a knot in it.
  2. Then make a twist in it so that you have a big ball and a little ball.
  3. The little ball will become the spider's head and should be at the end of the balloon with the opening.
  4. Twist each pipe cleaner around the "neck" of the spider by folding it in half over the balloon and twisting tightly. (Adult help may be needed for this bit as the pipe cleaners have sharp ends that may burst the balloon!)
  5. Twist the pipe cleaner in such a way that they resemble the legs of a spider.
  6. If you have a careful look at a spider you'll notice that all legs are on the front part of the spider.Your spider now has eight legs!
  7. Fold each leg to make it jointed.
  8. Using the white-out, paint scary eyes and fangs on the spider's face.
